Proper care and maintenance of all foot and ankle problems will dramatically improve the quality of life for nursing home residents who already face reduced mobility because of advanced age and other health problems.

Ongoing foot checks for At Risk feet enable changes in the circulatory and neurological condition within the feet  to be monitored. This is essential for those whose foot health needs, such as those with diabetes, are taken care of in order to prevent the occurrence of ulcers and further lower limb complications.
